Gepetto ★★ 2000
Kinda goopy Pinocchio update that focuses on toymaker dad, Geppetto (Carey). His longing for a kid of his own is granted by the Blue Fairy (LouisDreyfus), who makes puppet Pinocchio (Adkins) come alive. But Geppetto's parenting skills leave something to be desired and soon his new son disappears with travelling showman, Stromboli (Spiner), and gets into all kinds of trouble. Some catchy tunes. 90m/C VHS, DVD . Drew Carey, Seth Adkins, Julia LouisDreyfus, Brent Spiner, Rene Auberjonois, Usher Raymond, Ana Gasteyer, Wayne Brady; D: Tom (Thomas R.)
