Audrey Rose ★★ 1977 (PG)
Parents of a young girl are terrified when their darling daughter is having dreadful dreams. Mysterious friend Hopkins cements their fears when he declares that his dead daughter has been reincarnated in their child. The nightmares continue suggesting that none other than Lucifer could be at work. Good cast is hampered by slow-moving take-off on “The Exorcist” with a weak staged ending. Adapted by DeFelitta from his novel. 113m/C VHS, DVD . Marsha Mason, Anthony Hopkins, John Beck, John Hillerman, Susan Swift, Norman Lloyd; D: Robert Wise; W: Frank De Felitta; C: Victor Kemper.
