Countess of March. Name variations: Lady Mortimer; Katherine; Catherine Glendower. Born Catherine Glendower; died before December 1413; daughter of Owen Glendower and Margaret Glendower ; married Edmund Mortimer (1376–1438), 5th earl of March, in 1402.

Catherine Mortimer lived during a period known as the Wars of the Roses, a time of upheaval in England. She was the daughter of Owen Glendower and the wife of Edmund Mortimer, both rebels against the crown. From 1400 to 1402, Welsh leader Glendower waged a guerilla war against Henry IV. Edmund Mortimer, by strict rules of primogeniture the true heir of Richard II, also rebelled against King Henry and was captured. In William Shakespeare's Henry IV, Part I, Catherine is portrayed as Lady Mortimer.
