Roman noblewoman . Born between 54 and 40 bce; flourished around 25 bce; daughter of Octavia (c. 69–11 bce) and G. Marcellus (Roman consul); niece of Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus also known as Octavian or Augustus, Roman emperor; was first wife of Marcus Agrippa (Augustus demanded that Agrippa divorce Marcella to marry Augustus' daughter Julia [39 bce–40 ce]).
