Indian princess. Name variations: Yasodhana. Born around 563 bce in Lumbini; married Siddhartha Gautama, c. 547 bce; children: at least one child (Rahula).

At a young age, the princess Yasodhara married a neighboring youth of 16, a prince named Siddhartha, who would also be known as the Buddha. Yasodhara gave birth to at least one child. At age 29, Siddhartha left home, against his parents' will, and began a spiritual quest which lasted six years.
