Charles Tupper (premier of Nova Scotia, then prime minister of Canada, 1896–96, created a baronet), Oct 8, 1846; children: Emma (b. 1847), Elizabeth Stewart (1849–1849), James Stewart (1851–1915), Sir Charles Hibbert (1855–1927, MP 1882–1904), Sophy Almon (1858–1863), William Johnston (1862–1947, lt-gov of Manitoba, 1934–40).
