Raw-voiced lead vocalist for punk bank, X-Ray Spex, had singles "Oh Bondage, Up Yours," "The Day the World Turned Dayglo" and "Identity"; with band, released only album, Germ Free Adolescents (1978), then disbanded group (1978); as Marion Elliot, released album, Translucence (1980); later issued God's and Goddesses (1986).
