Defender, won a team silver medal at Sydney Olympics (2000) and a team bronze medal at Athens Olympics (2004); won Champions Trophy (2001) and was named Player of the Tournament; also placed 1st at World Cup (2002) and Pan American Games (2003); also played for the Dutch club, HC Rotterdam, and for Cologne in Germany. Awarded the Olimpa de Oro as the top sportsperson in Argentina (2002); named FIH Player of the Year (2002).
