American high jumper. Born Dorothy Louise Ritter, Feb 18, 1958, in Dallas, TX; graduate of Texas Women's University.
Won a gold medal for high jump at Seoul Olympics (1988); won 10 National championships, indoors and outdoors (1979–89). Inducted into USA Track & Field (1995).
