Queen of Hungary. Name variations: Richeza or Rycheza. Flourished between 1030 and 1040; daughter of Mieszko II (990–1034), king of Poland (r. 1025–1034) and Richesa of Lorraine (d. 1067); married Bela I, king of Hungary (r. 1060–1063); children: St. Ladislas I (1040–1095), king of Hungary (r. 1077–1095); Geza I, king of Hungary (r. 1074–1077); Helen of Hungary (who married Zwoinimir, king of Croatia); Sophie of Hungary (d. 1095); Lanka of Hungary (who married Rstislav, prince of Tmutarakan).
