Nordi, Cleo (b. 1899)
Finnish ballet dancer and teacher. Born 1899 in Kronstadt, Russia.
Trained in St. Peterburg by Nicholai Legat and in Helsingford by George Gé and others; worked with Anna Pavlova, appearing both as interpretive dance specialist as well as in Pavlova company repertory such as Chopiniana, Mazurka, and Autumn Leaves; became highly regarded teacher in London, teaching at Sadler's Wells Ballet School and at her own studio.
