Miramova, Elena (c. 1905–)
Russian actress and ballet and theatrical dancer. Born c. 1905 in Tsaritsyn, Russia; trained in Seattle, WA, at Cornish School.
As a ballet dancer, performed with ballet class act at age 16 on Northwest Pantages vaudeville circuit; worked mainly as a dramatic actress in Los Angeles in productions of A Bill of Divorcement and Sister Beatrice, and on Broadway in The Affairs of Anatol, The Two Mrs. Carrolls, and as the ballerina in Grand Hotel; wrote several plays, including Dark Eyes (1943).
