Performed with San Carlo Opera Company (1942); danced in Agnes de Mille's One Touch of Venus (1943), Jerome Robbins' On the Town and appeared as Amy in Ray Bolger's Where's Charley? (1943); danced frequently with Ballet Theater (1950s) and on Broadway in works by Robbins, including Miss Liberty (1949) and West Side Story (1957); films include Where's Charley? (1951), They Shoot Horses, Don't They (1969), Cinderella Liberty (1973) and All the President's Men (1976); appeared frequently on tv.
