Born Marie Nicholaevna Romanov (Romanoff or Romanovna) on June 26, 1899, in Peterhof, Russia; executed with her family by the Bolsheviks on July 16–17, 1918, at Ekaterinburg, in Central Russia; dau. of Alexandra Feodorovna (1872–1918) and Nicholas II (tsar of Russia); never married; no children.
