Born on September 23, 1759; died on March 7, 1802; daughter of Marie Josèphe of Saxony (1731–1767) and Louis (1729–1765), dauphin of France; sister of Louis XVI, king of France (r. 1774–1792); married Charles Emmanuel IV, king of Sardinia (r. 1796–1802), on September 6, 1775.
