Worked as English teacher and then filled several high level positions in UNESCO and Senegalese government; served as technical advisor to Ministry of Education, member of Central Committee of Socialist Party, and Senegalese Cultural Attaché in Rome, Italy; works include La voie du salut suivi de Le miroir de la vie (1985), En votre nom au mien (1989), and Brisures de vies (1998).
