Grand duchess of Tuscany. Name variations: Ludovica; Luisa of Naples; Luisa of Bourbon-Two Sicilies; Louise de Bourbon or Louise of Bourbon; Marie Louise of Naples and Sicily. Born on July 17, 1773, in Naples; died on September 19, 1802, in Vienna; daughter of Maria Carolina (1752–1814), queen of the Two Sicilies, and Ferdinand I (or IV), king of the Two Sicilies; married Ferdinando or Ferdinand III (1769–1824), grand duke of Tuscany (r. 1790–1802, 1814–1824) and archduke of Austria, on September 19, 1790; children: Caroline (1793–1812); Francis (1794–1800); Leopold II (1797–1870), grand duke of Tuscany (r. 1824–1859); Maria Ludovica (1798–1857); Maria Theresa of Tuscany (1801–1855). Ferdinand's second wife was Maria Anna of Saxony (1795–1865).
