Laurien, Hanna-Renate (1928–)
German politician. Born April 15, 1928, in Danzig.
Joined the CDU (1966) and was culture minister in Rheinland-Pfalz in the Cabinet of Helmut Kohl; served in Berlin senate (1981–89), was vice-chair of CDU (1984–87) and president of the Berlin parliament (1991–95); was a member of the diocesan council of the Archdiocese of Berlin and also of the Central Council of German Catholics.
