American psychologist. Born April 4, 1923; died in auto accident, Dec 17, 1992.
Distinguished professor of psychology at Rutgers University for many years and one of the founders of feminist psychoanalytic theory, wrote The Mermaid & the Minotaur: Sexual Arrangements and Human Malaise (1976).
