English theater director and playwright. Born Dec 5, 1893, in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England; m. Peter King.
Served as director of the Little Theatre, Citizen House, Bath, and the Everyman Theatre in Hampstead; wrote the chronicle play Vickie or the Girl Queen (1935), as well as The Chief of Kensington, The Widow of Windsor and This Year of Grace.
