American vocalist. Name variations: The Chiffons. Born 1946 in Bronx, NY.

Sang lead vocal as member of the Chiffons, all-girl vocal group with Barbara Lee, Patricia Bennett and Sylvia Peterson, which had international hits in early 1960s; with Chiffons, had such hits as "He's So Fine" (1963), "One Fine Day" (with Carole King on Piano, 1963), "Nobody Knows What's Going On" (1965) and "Sweet Talkin' Guy" (1966).
