Colleen Craig, a pilates trainer, is the author of two books that combine pilates movements with an exercise ball. In her first book, Pilates on the Ball: The World's Most Popular Workout Using the Exercise Ball, Craig provides an instructional guide on how to perform pilates exercises with the use of an exercise ball. In her second book Abs on the Ball: A Pilates Approach to Building Abdominals, Craig concentrates on the abdominal muscles. Abs on the Ball provides step by step instructions and illustrations on how to properly tone the abdominals using pilates and an exercise ball. The text is "full of sound guidance," noted Deborah Anne Broocker in a Library Journal review.
