Charles Alabaster (cleric and educator), 1858 (died 1865); m. Francis Knowles (cleric), 1915; children: 2.
Taught at parish school of St Ebbe, Oxford, England; immigrated with husband to New Zealand (1859); cofounded and administered prominent Lincoln Cottage Preparatory School (1862); retired (1880).
