Adele (r. 1017–1031)

Co-ruler of Vendôme. Birth and death dates unknown; married Bouchard I, count of Vendôme, Paril, and Corbeil (ruler of Vendôme from 958–1012); children: three sons, Renaud (bishop of Paril); Bouchard II; Foulques d'Oison.

After her husband died in 1012, Adele's eldest son Renaud ruled Vendôme for four years, until his death in 1016. Then a young nephew, though he was not of age, ruled briefly. Sometime after 1016, Adele co-ruled with her second son Bouchard II, but he too died soon after. She then co-ruled with her third son Foulques d'Oison until 1031 when she sold the duchy to Foulques' uncle Geoffrey Martel, count of Anjou.
