Picked-on kid David (Christensen) discovers that he has the ability to teleport at will, and he uses his gift to flit around the world, rob banks, and basically do what he pleases, including pursuing his childhood crush Millie (Bilson). Enter Roland (Jackson), a member of a mysterious group that hunts and kills “jumpers” like David. Heavy action fails to cover up the weak plot and David's brattiness.
