Rhapsodomancy
Rhapsodomancy
Divination by means of opening the works of a poet at hazard and reading the verse which first presents itself. This is similar to bibliomancy, the well-known divination technique of opening a Bible at random and reading the verse on which the finger or other indicator lights as an oracular statement relative to the inquirer's problem.
