pulp cavity The central region of a tooth, which is connected by a narrow channel at the tip of the root with the surrounding tissues. The pulp cavity contains the pulpconnective tissue in which blood vessels and nerve fibres are embedded, and it is lined with odontoblasts, which produce the dentine.
