Nephelium
Nephelium (family Sapindaceae) A genus of small trees in which the leaves are pinnate. The fruit is indehiscent, and the pericarp leathery, warty, or spiny, with 1 large seed enveloped in a juicy aril. Several species are cultivated for their edible fruit, especially N. lappaceum (rambutan). There are 35 species, occurring from Burma to western Malesia.
