Lomandra
Lomandra (family Xanthorrhoeaceae) A genus of woody rhizomatous (see RHIZOME) perennials that have tall stems, simple, linear sheathing leaves, and regular flowers, which are often rigid and coloured. The plants are dioecious. There are about 35 species, found in Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea, and New Caledonia.
