Antiaris
Antiaris (family Moraceae) A genus of trees that produce poisonous latex which is much sought as a constituent for arrow poisons. A. toxicaria (ipoh or upas tree) gained a false reputation in Europe for being excessively poisonous. There are 4 species, occurring in tropical Africa, Madagascar, and Indo-Malaysia.
