Ti-lo-pa

Ti-lo-pa (989–1069). One of the eighty-four mahāsiddhas of Indian Tantric Buddhism, and the first human teacher in the mahāmudrā tradition. He passed on his powers and teachings to Nā-ro-pa, through whom they were transmitted into the Kagyü school in Tibet.
