Maranantʾa
Maranantʾa or Mālānanda. A Serindian Buddhist missionary to Paekche (Korea). Maranantʾa travelled from Eastern China to Paekche in 384, during the first year of the reign of King Chʾimnyu (384–5); this event is traditionally regarded as the official introduction of Buddhism to the kingdom of Paekche.
