Huang-lao Chün
Huang-lao Chün (Chin., ‘ancient yellow Lord’). Taoist deity, and principal god of T'ai-ping tao. Originally compounded from Huangti (one of the legendary emperors—the Yellow Emperor—and four founders of religious Taoism, tao-chiao and Lao-tzu, he is the ruler of the world who appears in numerous incarnations of Taoist teachers to maintain the understanding of Tao.
