Four mountains. In China, sacred in association with bodhisattvas: (i) Chiu-hua-shan/Ti-tsʾang (Skt., Kṣitigarbha); (ii) Pʾu-tʾo-shan/Kuan-yin (Skt., Avalokiteśvara); (iii) O-mei-shan/Pʾu-hsien (Skt., Samantabhadra); (iv) Wu-tʾai-shan/Wen-shu (Skt., Mañjuśrī).
