Henri Didon (äNrē´ dēdôN´), 1840–1900, French Dominican preacher and writer. He became known as an eloquent preacher, especially for his eulogy on Archbishop Darboy. He was sent to Corsica by the Dominicans (1880–87) because he was suspected of leaning toward modernistic ideas. His life of Jesus, which was widely read, appeared in 1890. His Lent and Advent series of sermons were tremendously popular.
