Antung
Antung (än´tōōng´), former province (c.24,000 sq mi/62,160 sq km), NE China. The capital was Tonghua. It was bordered on the SE by the Yalu River, which separated it from Korea, and by the Bay of Korea. A part of Manchuria, it was included in Manchukuo and was created a province in 1945. In 1954, Antung became part of Liaoning prov.
