Saint-Simon Montbléru, Claude-Anne de Rouvray, Marquis de

SAINT-SIMON MONTBLÉRU, CLAUDE-ANNE DE ROUVRAY, MARQUIS DE. (1743–1819). French general. Often confused with his brother, Claude de Rouvroy, baron de Saint-Simon (1752–1811), and his cousin, Claude-Henri de Rouvray, comte de Saint-Simon (1760–1825), he was commander of the French troops that reached Yorktown with Admiral Grasse. The 3,470 man division served under Lafayette.
