Original name, Mark Salerno; born August 23, 1951, in Portland, OR; brother of Bill Hudson (a singer and actor) and Brett Hudson (a singer and actor); uncle of Kate Hudson (an actress), Oliver Hudson (an actor); children: Sarah (a singer).

Career:

Musician, vocalist, recording artist, songwriter, producer, director, and cinematographer. Musician and recording artist with the Hudson Brothers, beginning c. 1965; producer of record albums and songwriter for other artists, including Aerosmith and Ringo Starr. Hollywood Records, songwriter and producer, 1994-95; Rock and Roll Fantasy Camps, counselor, 2007, 2008. Also an artist and printmaker.
