Description:

Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, men only. Awards bachelor's, master's, and first professional degrees (also offers coed part-time programs). Founded 1832. Setting: 77-acre suburban campus with easy access to Philadelphia. Total enrollment: 392. Faculty: 36 (21 full-time, 15 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 7:1. 11 applied, 100% were admitted. 13% from top 10% of their high school class, 50% from top quarter, 63% from top half. Full-time: 96 students. Part-time: 152 students. Students come from 9 states and territories, 1 other country, 36% from out-of-state, 0% Native American, 4% Hispanic, 1% black, 1% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 1% international, 12% 25 or older, 94% live on campus, 4% transferred in. Collegiate Environment:

Orientation program. Drama-theater group, choral group, student-run newspaper. Most popular organizations: Seminarians for Life, student council. Student services: health clinic, personal-psychological counseling. Campus security: 24-hour emergency response devices and patrols. 250 college housing spaces available; 65 were occupied in 2003-04. Freshmen guaranteed college housing. On-campus residence required through senior year. Option: men-only housing available. Ryan Memorial Library with 113,761 books, 1,889 microform titles, 575 serials, 9,090 audiovisual materials, and a Web page. 60 computers available on campus for general student use.
