State and locally supported, 2-year, coed. Part of California Community College System. Awards certificates, transfer associate, and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1924. Setting: 55-acre urban campus with easy access to Los Angeles. Total enrollment: 29,688. Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 20:1.
