NASSS Graduate Minority Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To support ethnic minority graduate students who are doing research in the area of sport sociology. Focus: Sociology. Qualif.: Applicants must be NASSS members. Criteria: Recipient selection will be performed by the NASSS Diversity and Climate Committee.
Funds Avail.: $500. To Apply: Applicants must submit a one-page essay stating how they would contribute to the field of sociology, along with a faculty recommendation from someone who is familiar with the applicant's work and aspirations. Deadline: August 8.
