NBMBAA Graduate Scholarship Programs (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To financially assist qualified business students who has the potential to make great contributions in the field of business. Focus: Business. Qualif.: Applicants must demonstrate academic excellence, exceptional leadership potential and be actively involved in their local communities through service to others; be enrolled in a full-time graduate business program in a college or university in the United States accredited by the AACSB (AACSB International); agree to become an active member of NBMBAA. Criteria: Scholarship recipients will be selected based on the Selection Committee’s review of the application materials.

Funds Avail.: $15,000. Number Awarded: 25. To Apply:

Applicants must submit a two-page, typed essay (double spaced, 12-point font), resume and official transcripts (must be stamped and sealed). Deadline: April 21.

NBMBAA PhD Fellowship Programs (Doctorate/Fellowship)

Purpose: To financially assist minority students enrolled in a full-time business, management, or related discipline doctoral program. Focus: Business; Management. Qualif.: Applicants must be minority students enrolled in a full-time doctoral business or management program or related discipline in the U.S. Criteria: Fellowship recipients will be selected based on the Selection Committee’s review of the application materials.

Funds Avail.: Fellowship amount not specified. Number Awarded: 2. To Apply: Applicants must submit an original research paper (maximum of five pages excluding title pages, abstract, exhibits and reference list). Papers should be typed in 12-point font and double-spaced throughout, with a 1-inch margin on all sides. The abstract must not exceed for more than 50 words, and pages should be numbered.
