Construction Trades Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote education and contribute to the betterment of the construction industry. Focus: Construction. Qualif.: Applicant must be currently enrolled in a construction related degree program at a school in the United States or Canada. Criteria: Application will be reviewed and selected by the NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation Awards Committee.

Funds Avail.: $1,000-$2,000. To Apply: Applicants must have the following: Complete and signed application form; must have the transcript of grades for three most recent semester; must have extracurricular activities and Employment history. Application and other supporting materials must be sent to: NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation, 10130 Vivera Dr., La Mesa, CA 91941. Deadline: March 15. NAWIC Founders Undergraduate Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote education and contribute to the betterment of the construction industry. To encourage women to pursue and establish careers in the construction industry. Focus: Construction. Qualif.: Applicant must be currently enrolled in a construction-related degree program at a school in the United States or Canada, and must have at least one term remaining in an course of study leading to a degree or an associate degree in a construction-related field. Applicant must desire a career in a construction related field; must be enrolled full-time; must have a current cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to be considered for awards. Criteria: Application will be reviewed and selected by the NAWIC Founders’ Scholarship Foundation Awards Committee. Preference will be given to the applicant’s interest in construction, grades, extracurricular activities, employment experience, and financial need.
