Michigan Society of Professional Engineers Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To encourage high school seniors with the talent and commitment to pursue an engineering degree. Focus: Engineering. Qualif.: Applicants must be accepted at a Michigan ABET accredited college or university and enroll in an engineering program; must be high school seniors, residents of Michigan and U.S. citizens at the time of application; must have at least 3.0 GPA based on 4.0 scale for the 10th and 11th grades; and must attain a minimum composite test score of 26 on the American College Testing (ACT Exam). Criteria: Recipients are selected based on candidate's high school records, participation in extracurricular activities, evidence of leadership, character and self-reliance and comments from teachers and administrators.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form which can be obtained from a guidance counselor, local chapters or the MSPE Headquarters; a list of senior classes being taken; and a documented high school transcript and ACT test scores.
