Foundation Scholarships(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To generate and encourage philanthropic giving and manage funds to enhance the quality of education while building stronger communities. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and be working towards their first college degree. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on financial need, demonstrated academic achievements, number of credit hours and/or special circumstances.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit a 150 word personal statement detailing their goals and achievements, a copy of transcript of records and three letters of recommendation from high school or college instructors, counselors or employers. Deadline: March 10.

Gold Key Scholarships(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To generate and encourage philanthropic giving and manage funds to enhance the quality of education while building stronger communities. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students within the KCC district; must have completed no more than 24 credit hours of college; must have 3.2 cumulative GPA and ACT of 20 or higher. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on leadership experience.

Funds Avail.: $6,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit: a completed application form; an official high school and/or college transcript; three written letters of recommendation; ACT scores; 150 word written essay discussing achievements and future goals; and resume or employment information including activities, leadership, volunteer or school-related positions. Deadline: February 1.

Walter and Lucille Harper Scholarship (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To generate and encourage philanthropic giving and manage= funds to enhance the quality of education while building stronger communities. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be second year KCC students graduating with an associate's degree; must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA; must be citizens of the United States. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and financial need.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit: a completed application form; a copy of transcript of records; 150 word personal statement detailing their future aspirations; and three written letters of recommendation from teachers, counselors and employers. Deadline: March 10.

Kellogg Company Career Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To generate and encourage philanthropic giving and manage funds to enhance the quality of education while building stronger communities. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be citizens, legal permanent residents or nationals of the United States; must be residents of the greater Battle Creek area; must have a

cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale; must be entering or have been admitted as full-time degree seeking students at Kellogg Community College; must have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities; must be pursuing and completing an associate's degree in accounting or business management; must have fewer than 24 credit hours of college credit completed. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic achievement and leadership potential.

Funds Avail.: $6,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit: a completed application form; a transcript of grades; a minimum of 250 word personal statement detailing their future aspirations; and three written recommendations. Deadline: April 10.

Trustee Scholarships(Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To generate and encourage philanthropic giving and manage funds to enhance the quality of education while building stronger communities. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors within the KCC district; must be in the top 20% of graduating class and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and financial need.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form.
