Description: Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Founded 1920. Community Environment: Immaculata is a suburban area with a temperate climate. An airport, railroad, and bus lines serve the area. The school is located in Chester County, twenty miles west of Philadelphia, at the junction of routes 30 and 352. The community has a public library, churches of major denominations, two hospitals, and several large shopping centers. There are active civic and fraternal organizations within the area.
