Dvora Brodie Scholarships (Other/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial support to HIMSS student member who exhibits excellence and future leadership potential in the healthcare information and management system industry. Focus: Healthcare services. Qualif.: Applicant must be a member in good standing of HIMSS attending a school in New England, or originally be from the New England area; and the primary occupation of the applicant at the time the scholarship is awarded must be that of a student in an accredited undergraduate, Masters, or PhD program related to the healthcare information management systems field. Criteria: Recipient will be selected according to merit, financial need, and other factors.

Funds Avail.: $5,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit complete application form.

Richard P. Covert, Ph.D./FHIMSS Scholarships for Management Systems (Other/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to students pursuing a degree in Management Engineering. Focus: Engineering. Qualif.: Applicant must be a member in good standing of HIMSS and the primary occupation of the applicant at the time the scholarship is awarded must be that of student in an accredited undergraduate, Masters or PhD program related to the healthcare information management systems field. Criteria: Recipient will be selected according to merit, financial need, and other factors.

Healthcare Information Management Systems Scholarships (Other/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance to students in healthcare and IT-related fields. Focus: Healthcare services. Qualif.: Applicant must be a member in good standing of HIMSS and a student in an accredited undergraduate, Master’s or PhD program related to the healthcare information or management systems field. Criteria: Recipient will be selected according to merit, financial need, and other factors.

Northern California Chapter of HIMSS Scholarships (Other/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance for student in healthcare informatics who exhibits academic excellence

and future leadership potential in the healthcare information and management systems industry. Focus: Healthcare services. Qualif.: Applicant must be a member in good standing of HIMSS or member of National HIMSS and the Northern California Chapter attending a school in the Northern California area and the primary occupation of the applicant at the time the scholarship is awarded must be that of student in an accredited undergraduate, Master’s or PhD program related to the healthcare information management systems field. Criteria: Recipient will be selected according to merit, financial need, and other factors.
