American Nuclear Society Incoming Freshman Scholarships (High School/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist students complete their post-secondary education and prepare for careers in nuclear science and technology (NS&T). Focus: Engineering, Nuclear. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who have the intention to pursue a degree in nuclear engineering. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on high school academic achievement, freshman college courses enrolled in, quality and content of 500 word essay, letters of recommendation by counselors and/or teachers, and other information.

Funds Avail.: $1,000 for each recipient. Number Awarded: 4. To Apply: Applicants must submit all the required application information. Deadline: April 1.

American Nuclear Society Undergraduates Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To help students complete their post-secondary education and prepare for careers in nuclear science and technology (NS&T). Focus: Nuclear science; Engineering, Nuclear. Qualif.: Applicants must be students who have completed at least one year in a course of study leading to a degree in nuclear science, nuclear engineering, or a nuclear-related field. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on merit and financial need.
