Northern Renaissance Revival
Northern Renaissance Revival. Late-C19 revival (especially in England) of the Renaissance and Mannerist styles of Flanders, The Netherlands, and Northern Germany, notably by Sir Ernest George and other contemporaries, also termed Pont-Street Dutch or Flemish Revival. It frequently incorporated details made of terracotta.
