Brørup(Loopstedt) An interstadial that occurred during the last (Weichselian) glacial (see Devensian). Named from a place in Jutland, it dates from about 60 000 years bp and is perhaps the equivalent of the Chelford interstadial of the British Isles. Estimated mean July temperatures for this period are between 15 and 20°C.
